Star athlete, model student, chose NIU for the Yordon Center

From the moment I walked on campus, I’ve been treated like family by athletics and the university.

My dad was the first person in my family to see the Yordon Center. He saw it when he dropped off my highlight video. When he got home that night, he said, ‘Just wait until you see that Yordon Center!’

I think it says a lot about this community that the Yordon Center looks as good today as it did three years ago when I got here.

The Yordon Center is a reflection of the great people who work and study at NIU, and I’m proud to be one of them.

Junior finance major Tommy Davis says the Yordon Center helped bring him to NIU. Davis isn't only a star on the football field, he's also a star in the College of Business where he holds a 3.6 GPA. The Huskie cornerback had his choice of schools, and he says he's glad he chose NIU.
